What Is Infinity Downline When You Compare It To Traditional Multilevel Marketing Pay Plans
What is Infinity Downline? What is multilevel marketing? Are they one in the same? Some people believe them to be, but there are major differences in their compensation structure.
Let us first look at traditional multilevel marketing. Income is gained by the member when new members are brought in usually. This can be in the form of the products or services new members purchase or the recruitment fee's they pay. Commissions are usually disbursed to upline members several levels high and the admin or owners of the company.
Usually the products of most multilevel companies are high prices to facilitate more commissions being spread through the upline. They are not usually better in quality than similar products that can be purchased in most chain grocery or house hold product stores. This has been proven in a number of cases where ingredients were compared.
This is one of the areas where there are differences between the Infinity Downline and a typical multilevel marketing company, or MLM as it is also called. Differences as to, there is only so much commission being generated off of a purchase or fee that can be spread to a relatively few levels. Another difference being that the admin of an MLM usually gets a sizable percentage of that fee or commission.
Infinity Downline in comparison, the admin receives zero percentage of any membership fee. There is also no dispursing of any of Infinity Downline's membership fee's which each member pays monthly at a cost of $25. The membership fee's are paid from member to member. This means when a new member joins he can only join through another member, and must pay their sponsor $25 a month to keep their membership. They pay no one else. There is no sharing of the monthly fee. It goes to their sponsor only.
Now where Infinity Downline confuses some people into thinking they are MLM is by their name. You see their compensation plan, while there may be no disbursing of the membership fee, incorporates into it a way that many numbers of members could be passed up to another member.
This would allow them to earn the $25 monthly membership fees in a manner that could grow exponentially from month to month. There are no set numbers of member's that can be passed up to another member so in effect it can go onto infinity.
Let us examine the exact mechanics of this compensation structure to see how it also garners the word "downline" when in essence there is none.
Let us look at he first 4 new member's (sales) another member brings in to Infinity Downline to do this.
Sales one (1) and three (3) that a member makes, he gets to keep. This means those new members must pay him $25 monthly.
Sales two (2) and four (4) that a member makes he must pass up to their sponsor who then earns those new members $25 monthly fee.
Now those members 2 and 4 are technically the owner of that new sponsor and must in turn each pass up to their new sponsor their own 2nd and 4rth sales.
In essence what I just explained was a doubling effect. 1 member passed up 2 members who in turn must also pass up 2 members each to their new sponsor.
But it doesn't stop there, and hence where the term "Infinity" comes in. Those 4 new members must also pass up to their new sponsor 2 sales each for a total of 8 and those 8 must pass up 2 each for a total 16.
If you examine and compare this to the level structure of typical multilevel marketing, there are no levels. What is taking place is entirely different, it is simply a passing up of members to new sponsors.
In the above description which is technically accurate of how Infinity Downline operates, we left off at 16 members. Carrying out that same process, the amount of new members a sponsor would acquire (always the 2nd & 4rth sale) could continually double to infinity. IE: 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096 and so on and so on.
Now technically though, the term Infinity is not accurate as this passing up process would end when the number of available people became zero. However it does give you a good idea why it uses the word infinity in it's name.
It was purposely not discussed in this article about what the product or service of any MLM was or what Infinity Downline's is. It was to show what is Infinity Downline in comparison to MLM, regarding compensation plans of multilevel marketing companies.
